Carlos is a Supervisor at Onisko & Scholz, CPAs. He spends much of his time in the accounting & audit department preparing, compiling, reviewing, and auditing financial statements.
He also supervises the firm’s audit procedures for financial statements, cemetery authority, and 401(k) audits. He is responsible for planning procedures, risk assessment, requesting audit documents, communicating with clients, performing fieldwork and sampling procedures, completing financial statements, and researching new procedures and pronouncements.
He visits clients monthly to assist with month-end accounting work (including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and resolving issues). He is responsible for year-end accounting procedures to complete individual, corporate, s-corp, partnership, trust, and gift tax returns. Carlos is also a skilled trainer in QuickBooks.
